Let’s RALLY for READING by ROMPING over to storytime. Ms. Laurie and I are READY to offer a wide RANGE of REASONS to RACE to the Bee Cave Public Library: there will be RAINBOWS, and RABBITS, and even some REPTILES. REMEMBER to RESERVE the time – it will be REALLY REWARDING!

LITERACY LINK: R is for READING READINESS on a RAINY day
When you are stuck inside, there is no REASON not to RESEARCH what it takes to become a REPORTER. You can REFLECT on the people, places, and things in your own family, or REACH out to your neighborhood. RECORD your child’s story, and illustrate with REAL pictures from a magazine or your own drawings. Include REMARKS about your RELATIVES, and perhaps some RECIPES. Place in a folder, and this literacy exercise becomes a wonderful RESOURCE for REMEMBRANCES.
