S’NO PLACE LIKE STORYTIME

Hello, Storytime Friends!

As I’m buzzing around the hive today, it’s about 70 degrees outside, but you never know the difference a day or two can make! BEE thinking SNOW as you join us for some jolly, frosty tales about winter fun. Hope your holidays continue to be merry and bright.

Buzzingly yours,

The Bee Cave BEE

PS Are you stuck inside on a wintry day? Try this project to bring joy to your backyard birds:

Use a cookie cutter (a snowman would be nice!) to cut a shape out of a slice of bread. Poke a hole in the top with a pencil. Brush an egg white onto the bread and press birdseed on top. Let it dry. Thread a piece of ribbon or yarn through the hole, and place on a branch or bush where birds can perch. Check out a book about birds so you can identify your hungry visitors!

HOLIDAY HAPPINESS

Make a list and check it twice:

Bake up things with sugar and spice,

Write some cards, adorn the hive,

Give and share – you’ll feel alive!

And don’t forget, with high priority-

STORYTIME with Ms. Laurie and me!

(But only on Thursday, December 15

and December 29/30, with none in-between…)

Buzzingly and joyously yours,

PENGUINS ON PARADE

Hello, Storytime Friends!

Although the colder weather means hibernation for our bear buddies, the climate’s just perfect for our penguin pals! Dive into December, and join us for some COOL stories about these dapper dudes, and then make plans to head out to one of Austin’s own seasonal ice rinks. Now that’s REALLY keeping Austin weird!

Ms. Laurie reminds you to check out our new kids’ catalog, a really sweet and eye-catching way to find your favorite books in our children’s collection.

Buzzingly yours,

The Bee Cave BEE
